The Bill Benson litigation is all about the government attempting to silence everyone who dares to speak out against the IRS and the validity of the federal income tax. The courts have repeatedly stated they are powerless to address the issue. This makes the issue of whether or not the 16th Amendment was ratified a pure, political question.

As with all political questions, there must be open debate so the people can decide the truth. In the absence of debate, the governmental tyranny will continue. The debate of political questions is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. There is, however, an open attempt by the government to eliminate the First Amenement.
